38 millimeters. Holed for suspension. A rare piece, both sides retain nearly fully original, orange-red color. Some light grayish-brown patina is also splashed about, and scattered carbon flecks are noted.
The obverse depicts a three-quarter bust of a Native American with the inscriptions WAH-SHAH-SHE and KAH-HE-KEH above and the inscription WAH-SHE-HAH below. In the center of the reverse is the familiar clasped hands and crossed peace pipe and tomahawk motif. Above are the inscriptions ME-KAH-SHIN-KAH, WAH-SHAH-SHE and E-KO-WAH-E-TAH-PE. Below are the inscriptions O'MOIE-KAH-THA-1911 and, along the lower rim, E.K. ELDER.
