This is not a flipover overstrike, but the 1951-D Cent was fed into the press rotated a full 180 degrees from normal alignment. If you hold each side of the coin upside down, therefore, you will see faint remnants of the first striking from the 1951-D dies. Look particularly close in the upper-left obverse field for traces of both the date 1951 and another D mintmark. A bold-looking piece with rich, original, medium-brown patina.
