Lot #456. 1855 Braided Hair Cent. N-9. Rarity-1. Grellman Die State F. Slanting 5s, Knob on Ear. MS-62 BN (NGC).

Description: Mottled gray-brown highlights are splashed atop dominant copper-brown patina. Both sides are boldly defined, and the diagnostic die breaks near the center of the obverse are sharp are clearly seen. Suitably glossy for the grade, and free of individually conspicuous blemishes.
