Description: Alone among New Orleans Mint Half Dimes of the Legend Obverse type, the 1860-O is an immensely popular offering for mintmarked type collectors. This is a conditionally scarce Gem with brilliant, satiny surfaces and an impressively sharp strike. Very smooth, as befits the assigned grade.
