Description:
A very choice set of this much more ornate series of notes. Includes $1, $5, $10, and differently styled $10 note with red "X" overprints. The designs are fairly uniform with Washington portrait and left end with field hand. Each with handsome red protector features and printed on a thin brown paper. Very superior condition group and all Extremely Fine or better. The $1 note is as made and formerly Schingoethe. An amazing piece. Beautifully matched and a scarce series.
