Description: This otherwise lustrous, generally rose red survivor reveals minimal gray-brown patina in only one or two isolated areas (the obverse date area is the most prominent). A bold to sharp strike even extends to the borders -- an uncommon attribute in an 1850s large cent -- and it is only a few extremely minor blemishes that preclude a Choice rating. Attractive piece.
