Description: A straighter, narrower truncation differentiates the Second Head style of the 1834 Classic half eagle from its First Head counterpart (Breen-6501). A khaki gold example with plenty of bold definition remaining to all devices. A bit scuffy overall, yet free of individually distracting abrasions. Popular first year issue for the brief Classic half eagle series of 1834 to 1838.
