One example is engraved on the reverse of a Type I gold dollar, three are engraved on the reverse of Type III gold dollars, one piece is engraved on both sides of what appears to have also been a Type III gold dollar, and the final piece is engraved on both sides of a piece with the approximate size of a quarter eagle. Five pieces are looped for suspension, while the sixth features the broken remnant of a pin back. Fine artwork in most cases, with the dates 1884, 1889 and 1896 included for three pieces. An appealing lot for the specialist.
