Lot #10. Six-Piece 1942 Proof Set. (NGC).

Description: Included are:

1942 Lincoln Cent. Proof-64 RD (NGC). Glowing cherry-red with some minor spotting on each side. Razor-sharp throughout.

1942 Jefferson Nickel. Type I. Proof-65 (NGC). Multicolored iridescence frames the centers in a circular fashion. A fully defined Gem Proof example.

1942 Jefferson Nickel. Type II. Proof-66 (NGC). Bright and glittering with the slightest amount of ice-blue patina overall. A beautiful Gem.

1942 Mercury Dime. Proof-67 (NGC). Essentially brilliant with some barely detectible haze and bright red peripheral tones.

1942 Washington Quarter. Proof-66 (NGC). Approaching perfection with fully brilliant surfaces and no visual distractions. One of the finest we have seen.

1942 Walking Liberty Half Dollar. Proof-66 (NGC). Fully defined with glittering white surfaces and only the slightest amount of pink-red patina at selected border areas. A remarkable example of this beautiful issue.
