4.9 grams. A bold Gem, with fully brilliant surfaces radiant with luster. The obverse was positioned against the collar toward 4 o'clock, with the strike sharpest in this area and fading softly toward 10 o'clock where there was no collar to restrict the metal flow. The date and mintmark are complete and bold, as are the central motifs. Virtually mark-free and a neat error on this one-year type, particularly remarkable for the superb Gem grade and bold eye appeal. There are fewer than 10 pieces believed to exist.
