Description: Dramatic white-on-black contrast is evident on each side of this conditionally rare Superb Gem Proof. The design motifs are rendered with razor-sharp precision, as even Franklin's crow's-feet and the shallow lettering on the Liberty Bell are fully brought up. A beautiful example of this earlier date, with smooth, untoned, pristine surfaces.
