Lot #53223. CHINA--PROVINCIAL BANKS. Anhwei Yu Huan Bank. $5, 1907. P-S820.

Important Anhwei Yu Huan Bank 1907 Five Dollars

Description: (S/M#A6-2) A highly important offering which marks the first we have handled for the catalog number. This vertical format note is rare in higher grades with this bright note showing all the appeal of an Extremely Fine example. Subtle circulation and great color are noticed along with margins that are distraction free for the technical grade. Facing dragons at center with pearl of wisdom between on blue under-printing. Silver dollar at upper left and right and sea at lower center. Verso design with ornate borders in olive-brown hue with central characters in black. Margin overprinting at right along with square signature seal at lower left. A single horizontal fold at center, lower left corner and top margin are well mention beyond petty handling. Overall a historically important note and highly difficult to locate any finer.
