Description: (7.12.1) A magnificent offering of this highest denomination for the Government 1915-36 issue which shows the incredibly large format W&S design in precise detail. Bold red color creates the primary design of the face and back with green under-printing and black primary inks. Simple handling, vertical and horizontal folds along with some typical spindle holes at left are all we mention. Original paper is welcomed and the last to sell publicly was an Uncirculated example which brought $5,750.00 as lot 20143 in our August 2011 ANA sale.
