IT Project Manager/Analyst | $85,000 - $105,000 | Costa Mesa, CA
IT Project Manager Position Summary:
As an IT Project Manager/Analyst, you will serve as a key IT point of contact for the business units. You will drive business value by providing strategic IT advice and expertise using an information product mindset to consistently influence the thinking and decisions made by our business partners. This role is accountable for articulating the value and vision of IT for the various business areas, keeping a pulse on business operational metrics, appropriately managing delivery expectations, and prioritizing the portfolio of IT projects and requests while collaborating with your peers across all of IT.
Essential duties & responsibilities:
Business Collaboration and Drive IT Value for Business Partners (30%)
• Serve as the key interface between IT and business on all facets of IT activity
• Consult with the business to determine information needs and identify new opportunities to drive competitive advantage
• Liaison between the business partners, Executives, and IT
• Develop business cases for new IT solutions
IT Project and Business Request In-Take and Prioritization (50%)
• Prioritize and validate all IT requests with the business
• Ensure quality delivery of IT deliverables (projects, tickets)
• Develop project plans and deliver solutions within time and cost constraints
• Manage stakeholder communications, status, and expectations of IT delivery
• Ensure IT project closure / post-mortem
Business Requirements and Analysis (20%)
• Gather and analyze requirements for IT projects and data requests
• Facilitate QA and UAT activities with business and IT Delivery teams
Qualifications & Skills:
• Five (5) or more years of experience in IT project management and leadership skills for managing projects and the teams involved with them.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle issues that occur during project completion
• Organization and time management skills to keep projects on track and within budget
• Business and Technical requirements management
• Business solution delivery and quality management
• Knowledge of website development and auction services is a plus
