The time has come to focus on the Spring 2023 Showcase Auction. In this auction, we will be selling a deeply-mirrored Proof restrike 1851 Liberty Seated dollar that has been graded Proof-61 Cameo by NGC. With a tiny mintage of just 1,300 coins, the 1851 Proof dollar was one of the first Liberty Seated coins to be recognized as a rarity when the numismatic hobby first gained popularity in the late 1850s. Its rarity continues to this day, and we are pleased to offer this coin in our upcoming Official Auction for the Whitman Coin & Collectibles Spring Expo in March.
