This month’s Stack’s Bowers Currency iAuction will feature a rare Fr. 1500* 1928 $1 Legal Tender Star Note. Just over 30 examples of this small size replacement note are known making it one of the keys to a small size star collection. While an exact print run is unknown likely fewer than 100,000 of these stars were printed and issued.
