Did you know Stack’s Bowers Galleries is pleased to present in the February Americana Showcase and Rarities Night Sale the Stephen Winthrop Collection of United States Type Coins and Classic Commemoratives? Stephen Winthrop assembled his collection over the past four decades and hand selected each coin for his collection based on quality and eye appeal. Mr. Winthrop was diagnosed with A.L.S., an incurable degenerative disease, and is donating 100% of the proceeds from his collection to the Stephen Winthrop A.L.S. Fund at Harvard University to help find a cure.
