The largest world paper money show held during the year in the United States is coming up June 18 to 21, and dealers are getting ready to travel to the “Home of the Blues.” The venue is the Cook Convention Center in Memphis. As we left the recent Long Beach Expo the parting expression among currency dealers was, “See you in Memphis.” The show is always exciting with many dealers holding back fresh material for this event.
The Stack’s Bowers Galleries Currency department will have more than 1,200 lots from our upcoming Official Currency Auction of the Whitman Coin & Collectibles Summer Expo available for viewing. The lots, which include both the live and Internet sessions of the July auction, can be viewed at the Stack’s Bowers Galleries’ booth at tables 601/701 just inside the entrance.
