Of the 1852 Proof Braided Hair Cents that were struck, only three are known today. The example shown here was last sold in 2015 when it realized over $100,000. This particular coin is the finest of the three known and hails from the famous Twin Leaf Collection.

The example to the left was sold by Stack's Bowers Galleries in the July 2015 Baltimore Auction, where it realized $105,750.
