Our April Valkenburg auction is posted to the website for viewing and bidding. We are pleased to feature lot 30071, a Danish West Indies P-18a 1905 10 Francs in PMG Choice Very Fine 35. This note was printed by the Bradbury Wilkinson Company.

This is the finest example we have ever handled for this highly scarce catalog number. Of note are the lovely red under-prints and the sharp detail of the primary design. A palm tree is at left and village at right, with a central portrait vignette of King Christian IX. Out of eleven notes graded by PMG for the variety, this example is the finest encapsulated by their service. PMG Pop 1/None Finer.
