A Rarely Offered Hawaiian Medal to be Sold in the Spring 2022 Showcase Auction

Did you know that Stack’s Bowers Galleries will present the rarely encountered "1891" (1893) Reginald Huth Medal in Silver in the Spring 2022 auction? The type does not represent a pattern or circulating issue, but instead as a medal which was produced by Messrs. Pinches & Co. of London. The fascinating thing about this medal is that it was struck at the request of Reginald Huth for a private collection and to be distributed to friends and family of the royals. The silver medal being sold in Lot 6517 is the one of only 50 Proofs struck, and it is graded by  Proof-58 by PCGS.?
