Two internet-only sessions with nearly 1,500 lots will provide additional opportunities for collectors ensuring an exciting sale with plenty of fresh material in all price ranges. The world paper money department has been working hard to present this sale, and we hope there is something for everyone.

As recently announced, starting with this sale, all banknote lots estimated at $399 or lower will now open at our lowest bid increment, $20, creating greater opportunities for collectors to participate in auctions and acquire prized pieces for their collections. Notes with estimates of $400 or more will now have starting bids set at 50% of the low estimate.

These changes follow the successful implementation of a similar structure of our U.S. Currency auctions, where results have consistently met or exceeded expectations. By introducing lower starting bids, we will generate more competitive bidding and increase participation, while maintaining fairness for consignors.

As always, we continue to accept consignments for our future sale. We’ve already secured some exceptional consignments for the coming months and always seek additional quality material. To take advantage of this robust market and present your notes in a standout catalog, contact me directly at [email protected] or call 800-458-4646.
