The obverse of the coin shows a deer facing the left side of the coin. In a circle around the deer is the text listed above. Centered in ornamentation at the bottom of the coin are III Roman Numerals. A pointing hand is located to the left of the 3 Roman Numerals, pointing to the word VALVE. To the right of the 3 Roman Numerals is a star symbol. A crescent moon is located beneath the Roman Numerals.
Three crowned hammers are positioned in the shape of a pyramid. The date is at the bottom, with a pointing hand to the left.
The reverse design changes back to the three small crowned hammers once more. The lower right hammer is positioned over the 3 in 1737. On the obverse, the left deer antler is located underneath the A in AS, while the right antler is located beneath the S.
The example to the left was sold by Stack's Bowers Galleries in the Sydney F. Martin Collection, Part I, where it realized $192,000.
