Stack’s Bowers Galleries sold over $1.7 million in Physical Cryptocurrency in their recent Bitcoin Halving Sale, presented as part of the Spring 2024 Showcase Auction. This sale now ranks as the firm’s single largest offering in this category and pushes their total prices realized above $6.3 million to date. With industry-leading prices and a 100% sell-through rate, the recent sale confirms Stack’s Bowers Galleries’ leadership in this category.
The Bitcoin Halving Sale results were bolstered by several world record prices including $96,000 for a 2011 Casascius 1 Bitcoin, now the most valuable brass Casascius 1 Bitcoin of any date or variety. Other new records include $102,000 for the most valuable silver Casascius 1 Bitcoin, $360,000 for the most valuable Casascius 5 Bitcoin, and $87,000 for the most valuable Bitbills 1 Bitcoin card.
