This milestone signals an uptick in market growth and demonstrates the universal trust that both sellers and buyers place in the Stack's Bowers Galleries name. In addition, many industry-wide records were set. In the April 2021 Hong Kong Auction, an1825 pattern Russian Ruble established the record for the most expensive non-U.S. coin sold by an American auction house at $2,640,000.

Over $14.7 million in U.S. coins, currency, and Americana was sold by Stack's Bowers Galleries in their official auction for the Whitman Coin & Collectibles Winter Expo. This was the first such event held since the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic, with lot viewing offered in-person at the Baltimore Convention Center and the auction itself hosted remotely from Griffin Studios in the firm's Costa Mesa, California headquarters. Stack’s Bowers Galleries to be the Official Auctioneer of the MIF Paper Money Fair in Valkenburg, Netherlands

Stack's Bowers Galleries, known for selling at auction the most valuable paper money and coin collections worldwide, is thrilled to announce their sponsorship of the MIF Paper Money Fair in Valkenburg, Netherlands. Their sponsorship will include hosting an auction in conjunction with the show. The inaugural MIF Paper Money Fair will take place in the Polfermolen in Valkenburg Saturday, April 23 and Sunday, April 24, 2022. Future shows will be held each year in the spring and fall.

A physical Lealana 0.1 Bitcoin was sold for$33,600by Stacks Bowers Galleries in their November 2021 Showcase Auction, representing a nearly 500% premium above the face value, or "peel value," of approximately $5,700 at the time of the sale. Graded SP-70 by PCGS, it was the very first bitcoin from the Lealana series to be certified by that grading service and was also the very first piece of physical cryptocurrency offered in a major live auction.
