Held in conjunction with the Whitman Expo in Baltimore, the sale presents over 3,200 lots across seven sessions, featuring U.S. coins (colonial, pre-federal, federal, territorial, and patterns), Numismatic Americana (medals, tokens, and related), and physical cryptocurrency.

Stacks Bowers Galleries just wrapped up its two-session auction held in conjunction with the Maastricht MIF Money Fair. The sale offered 640 lots of World Paper that realized over $2.6 million. The event featured collections that have come to the public market for the first time, including the Bay of Bengal Collection of Ceylon, the My Canh Collection of French Indo-China, the Olive Sprig Collection of Palestine, the Collection of Kazmier Wysocki, the Tiber Collection of Italian Occupation Specimens and more.

Stacks Bowers & Ponterio is pleased to report the stunning results of their April 2026 Hong Kong Showcase Auction. Spanning April 13 to 20, the sale presented over 7,700 lots which delivered a 96% sell-through rate. Overall, this showcase surpassed $30,000,000 in prices realized after accounting for post-auction sales. The results once again underscore Stacks Bowers & Ponterios firmly established position as a market leader, while signaling sustained momentum across the Asian market. Auction records were smashed during an incredible week of auctions hosted March 9-17, 2026 by preeminent rare coin auction firm, Stacks Bowers Galleries. Taking top price honors was a gorgeous Gem Proof 1882 $20 gold piece that brought $810,000, more than doubling the previous record for this issue when the same coin brought $293,750 in October 2012.
